Donna Luong
“The Probationer” is both Donna’s film acting and action role debut.
Previously Donna has been fashion modeling since 2008. Donna had no
previous martial arts training and found that part of the role the most
challenging, but she persevered and ultimately found it a rewarding
experience. She hopes to continue modeling and practice her acting in
future projects.
John Jacobs
John Jacobs lectures in Performing Arts at Deakin University and has
been involved in both theater and film. He has recently directed Brooke
Fairley’s Ticking Boxes at Carlton Courthouse in 2008. He has acted in
short films and features alike. He has recently played Father Neville in
“Belladonna” (Dir. Annika Glack, in post production) and played role of
Ellison in “Digger” (Dir. Kevin Anderson, in production).
Andrew Gashumba
Andrew Gashumba is a full time university student majoring in marketing
who has also been involved in acting and modelling on a part time basis
for five years. Born in Uganda to Rwandan parents and having lived in
Uganda, Kenya, England and Australia, Andrew has an interest in stories
of immigration, integration, identity and has been
involved in a number of projects dealing with these issues as an actor.
Toan Minh Phuong
Toan has worked on a number of theater shows during the past 10 years.
He has recently completed a 2008 stunt course in Queensland. Toan’s role
in movies include an extra role on city homicide and a performance role
on Wilfred. He is currently working on a T.V show for Ch31.
Sarah Jennifer Dute:
Sarah is a photographer and freelance artist, who has been involved also
within the film and media industry for over 5 years. She is currently
aspiring towards having her own exhibition of works within the next few
years, and settling down into a decent lifestyle in Melbourne. She loves
family and dancing, and a good time had by all. =) x
